SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Walgreens pharmacy location in Springfield's Mason Square will be closing its doors for good in less than a month.
The store, located at 707 State Street, will be permanently closing in January 21, according to the company's website.
Back in October, Walgreens announced plans to close about 1,200 stores nationwide over the next three years as part of an effort to turn around their business.
With the closure of the State Street store, Walgreens will operate seven pharmacy locations across the city.
