SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Florence Bank presented a gift of $100,000 to Caring Health Center of Springfield on December 19 during the center's Capital Campaign event. The event was held to highlight the health center's goal of health equity for all communities that they serve. President and CEO of Caring Health Center Tania Barber said that Florence Bank's donation greatly impacted their efforts in making this goal a possibility. Herrell’s in Northampton wins Spectrum Award for excellence in customer service “The funds will advance Caring Health Center’s mission to eliminate health disparities and achieve health equity by enhancing access to high-quality, value-driven care for our multi-ethnic community,” Barber said. “This gift will support capital improvements, including completing the Boston Road construction project, creating vital space to meet growing patient demand and diverse healthcare needs.” The check was presented to Barber and other leaders at the Caring Health Center by Florence Bank President and CEO Matt Garrity. Other bank officials and local dignitaries were also present for the check presentation and to support the Capital Campaign event. Garrity said that Florence Bank has a history of providing support to initiatives that improve the lives of vulnerable populations.
