MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A shootout between two men and an employee at a Bojangle's in Raleigh led to an attempted murder charge against an 18-year-old.
Sunday afternoon, police say two armed men approached an employee at the restaurant on Austin Peay Highway.
The employee ran out the back door with his own handgun, police say. The two men fired at him, and he returned fire.
Officers nearby heard the shots, and were flagged down by witnesses who gave them a suspect description.

Nehemiah Cotton and another suspect were caught without incident. Police say Cotton dropped a backpack containing a gun, and had another handgun in his waistband.
Cotton, who just turned 18 a few days ago, is charged with attempted first-degree murder.
