Wisconsin woman arrested for 2018, 2019 bank robberies

JACKSON COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – A 26-year-old woman from Medford has been arrested in connection with two bank robberies that occurred in Jackson County in late 2018 and early 2019.
Authorities say Michaela Davis was identified as the suspect after new leads emerged in the investigation.

The first robbery took place in November 2018 at the Jackson County Bank Motor Branch in Black River Falls. The second occurred on January 3, 2019, at the Jackson County Bank in Alma Center.
In both cases, the suspect was described as a white female who fled the scene on foot. Despite initial efforts, she was not located at the time.
Detectives tied Davis to the robberies through additional information and evidence, leading to her arrest. She is now charged with two felony counts of robbing a financial institution.
Oshkosh man arrested for alleged string of construction site burglaries
Davis made her initial court appearance on Monday, where Judge Anna Becker set a $10,000 signature bond. She is scheduled to return to court on January 13, 2025, for an adjourned initial appearance.
