FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- The Holiday Lights at Parkview Field have done more than just ring in the holiday season, with many people looking for a bite to eat following the magic of Christmas glow. Businesses such as Powers, located just a block away from Parkview Field, have seen an uptick in foot traffic, especially when the weather is good. "When the weather's good, which we've had a good run of weather here in the last few weeks, people are getting into that holiday spirit, and so they're coming out in force, and they're really supporting what they're doing over there at the stadium," Alex Richardson a managing partner for Powers Hamburgers said. "We [Powers] get some overflow before, after, during. So it's been super exciting for us. We're excited to really kind of become a part of that," said Richardson. Coney Island has also seen an increase in foot traffic, alongside their usual Night of Lights business. "The lights of Parkview field's been really nice. It's a real bump in the night business. What's fun is just seeing the people that came home from out of town and the traditions. We see them every year, they come and they wait in line, and they're happy to do it, and so they take them home with them it's great." Jimmy Todoran, Co-Owner of Coney Island said. With the holiday rush - and the new addition of the light's Coney Island has even extended their hours for the winter. The restaurant has added an extra hour on the weeknights, which means they're open until 10 p.m. on weeknights, 11 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 p.m. on Sundays. The lights at Parkview Field are open until Jan. 4. Visitors can either pick up a ticket online or at the ticketing office just outside of the ball park's main entrance.
