EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- El Paso Fire crews were busy fighting a structure fire for several hours early Monday morning, Dec. 23 in South-Central El Paso. The fire was at East Fourth Avenue and South Cotton Street and is under control, a Fire Department spokesman said. The fire was knocked down by about 6:15 a.m., a fire spokesman said. Crews are still looking for hotspots. No injuries or transports have been reported. The call came in shortly before 3 a.m. Monday. A Fire Department spokesman said the building appears to be a food packaging/warehouse business and is not abandoned. Investigators are on scene looking into the cause. As many as 23 fire units were on the scene during the course of the fire.
