FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Monday evening!
Strong winds out of the south have helped to push temperatures back to near normal for this time of year. Skies have been dealing with a little more cloud cover. Right before we end off the day, those clouds will give way to a little bit of rain.
A system passing to our north will drag a line of showers across the state. A handful of spotty showers will move in right around the evening hour commute. A bigger line of more blanketing showers will move in a few hours later and leave right around midnight.
We're still very cloudy going into Tuesday morning. There's a light chance to see some drizzle in the area. Temperatures will still remain in the 40s for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. For the holiday itself, skies are still cloudy. We're looking at a little bit of wet weather back in Central Ohio for Christmas, but it will fall as a handful of isolated rain showers in the afternoon.
After a brief dry up and major warm up on Thursday, rain returns to end off the work week. Friday will see a little more sunshine as temperatures push into the lower 50s. Showers build in towards the evening and remain scattered for the weekend.
Temperatures for the final weekend of the year will be very warm for this time of year. Numbers will climb into the mid 50s for Saturday and Sunday. For the beginning of next year, showers will linger in the area. Temperatures remain warm, but slightly cooler from the weekend in the lower 50s.
