One person dead after apartment fire in Hartford

HARTFORD, CT. (WWLP) - One person is dead after a fire on West Boulevard in Hartford.
Crews put out two-alarm barn fire in Pittsfield
The fire department said it started just after 1:00 Sunday morning in a multi-unit apartment complex in the west-end neighborhood, according to NBC Connecticut.
Fire crews say it was a kitchen fire that they were able to get under control quickly. The fire was reportedly contained in the apartment of origin.
One man was pulled out by firefighters and brought to the hospital where he died. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
