Two people arrested on drugrelated charges following traffic stop in Wisconsin

VIROQUA, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Wisconsin say two people were arrested during a traffic stop earlier this month on multiple drug-related charges.
According to a release from the Vernon County Sheriff's Office, a deputy stopped a Chevrolet pickup truck on December 8 at 6:30 p.m. on County Road J in the town of Franklin.

Upon further investigation, officials say both 41-year-old Ryan M. Volden from Soldiers Grove and 47-year-old Michelle Joan Hays from Viroqua were arrested.
Volden was said to be arrested on probable cause for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
Hays was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Tetrahydrocannabinol, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Felony Bail Jumping, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Officials say both Volden and Hays were taken to the Vernon County Sheriff's Office Detention Center and appeared in court on December 9 for a bail hearing.
Three pronounced dead after two-vehicle crash in Sheboygan County
During the bail hearing, the court reportedly set bond for Volden at $1,000 and set bond for Hays at $500. Both posted bail and were scheduled to be back in court on December 20.
No other information is available at this time and formal charges have been referred to the Vernon County District Attorney's Office.
