Free concert brings holiday cheer early

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — Guests at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center Theater got into the Christmas spirit a few days early with the Pueblo Municipal Band's Holiday Concert.
On Sunday, Dec. 22, people were invited to enjoy a free special concert at the Arts Center. The Pueblo Municipal Band has brought captivating performances to the area since 1913, and on Sunday, the band provided a memorable experience for concertgoers of all ages.

The concert highlighted some holiday favorites and invited attendees to sing along.
"I am so lucky to work with these amazing, talented musicians and the audience," said the Conductor of the Pueblo Municipal Band Mark Emory. "I mean, we've got a huge audience. So I want to thank everyone that comes to the concerts, especially our Christmas concert this evening because it really makes our musicians feel important and feel like they're doing something impactful."
The event was sponsored by the Thatcher Building.
