HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Adam Wurtzel met local Rabbi Chaim Greenberg at Birkdale Village to learn more about Hanukkah.
Also spelled Chanukah and known as the Festival of Lights, 2024 (or 5785 on the Jewish calendar) is a rare year where the first night of Hanukkah and Christmas Day fall on the same day. This also means that the 8-night celebration will finish in 2025, marking another rare occurrence, where there will be two Hanukkah’s celebrated next year.
Greenberg is Rabbi at Chabad Lake Norman, where every Jewish person is welcome, regardless of affiliation or level of knowledge.
