A male driver died after he was shot while driving Sunday night, Dec. 22, in Moreno Valley, authorities said. Deputies responded to a report of a crash at 7:22 p.m. in the 13000 block of Leota Court, near Cottonwood Avenue and Indian Street, after a 911 caller said a vehicle crashed into a wall, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office. When they arrived, deputies found a male driver with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials didn’t immediately specify the driver’s age. Authorities were on scene Sunday night investigating the shooting. No further information was immediately available.
