Male dies after he was shot while driving in Moreno Valley

A male driver died after he was shot while driving Sunday night, Dec. 22, in Moreno Valley, authorities said.
Deputies responded to a report of a crash at 7:22 p.m. in the 13000 block of Leota Court, near Cottonwood Avenue and Indian Street, after a 911 caller said a vehicle crashed into a wall, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
When they arrived, deputies found a male driver with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials didn’t immediately specify the driver’s age.
Authorities were on scene Sunday night investigating the shooting.
