Serving as an executive board member and secretary of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Alejandro Mendieta has dedicated his efforts to giving back to the community and is getting ready to start the new year with the chamber’s annual gala, leading community service initiatives and overseeing conference panels for the business community.  Through the chamber’s foundation, Mr. Mendieta said he is preparing to co-chair the chamber’s annual gala, organize beach cleanups, and put forth panels to better educate local businesses.  Mr. Mendieta is president of the Coastal Wealth Private Client Group. He is a financial professional who serves high net-worth clientele with comprehensive generational financial planning, custom-tailored insurance solutions, investment strategies, and personal service.  Over the years, he has shared his insights and formulas for growing an exceptional holistic practice with leading financial professionals in the industry and has presented as a speaker to multiple Fortune 500 companies and financial services firms across the US.  Mr. Mendieta has consistently been recognized as one of the top-ranked financial professionals in the country by Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. He has received other accolades, including the 2017 Coastal Wealth Managing Director of the Year Award, and was recognized as Top Overall Financial Advisor and Financial Planner by Coastal Wealth from 2016 to 2019. He was also appointed during the pandemic in 2020 as a commissioner for the inaugural Millennial Debt Commission. He was named the 2017 Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Philanthropist of the Year, the 2017 Hispanic Heritage Award by Boy Scouts of America, 2018 and 2021 MassMutual Gold Community Service Award, 2018 Pacific Life Foundation Recipient, 2020 Boy Scouts Distinguished Citizen Award, and earned the highest honor awarded by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel.  Mr. Mendieta, who was recently elected president of the Boy Scouts of America, South Florida Council, said he recognizes the importance of giving his time back to the community and serving others in need.
