Rochester police searching for suspect after gunpoint robbery at Family Dollar

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Family Dollar on West Avenue in Rochester was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night, according to the Rochester Police Department.

Police stated that officers were called to the store just before 8:30 p.m. The clerk told officers that someone with a mask on walked in with a gun and demanded money. According to police, the suspect took cash and ran off before officers arrived. No one was injured.

No one has been arrested. As the investigation continues, police asked anyone with information to call 911.
