(KRON) -- Thousands of customers are without power Sunday night following an unplanned outage, according to PG&E. The company says the outage was reported at 8:28 p.m. As of 9 p.m., there are 3,511 PG&E customers affected by the outage. A map of the customers currently affected can be viewed below. Our team is evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs in order to safely turn the power back on," PG&E said. PG&E did not specify whether or not the power outage was weather-related. The cause of the outage is unknown at this time. The estimated time for power to be restored is around midnight, according to PG&E.
