NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — It's that time of the season, where cities across North Dakota shut down for the holidays. And whether you're looking to pay a utility bill or take the bus, it's important to stay updated on what government services are available to you this week. In the Magic City, landfills will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas. This means there'll be no curbside pickup, and there are no make-up days scheduled. Minot City Transit will also be closed on these days as well as New Year's Day. Officials says that from December 23 to December 31, there will be no morning or afternoon extra routes available either. In the capitol city, garbage and recycling services will be delayed by one day on Christmas and December 26. Bismarck City offices will be closed at noon on Christmas Eve and all day on Christmas. If you want to know what will be closed in your town this week, visit your local government's website for more details.
