Monday will bring a chance of mixed rain and snow to northeast Indiana. Freezing rain will be possible in areas north of Fort Wayne close to noon. While the accumulation of freezing rain/snow is not expected, it can still cause some slippery roads.
The majority of the rain/snow mix will not arrive until the early afternoon at 4 pm. It will pass through the majority of the viewing area, with as far south as Portland experiencing some rain.
The majority of the precipitation will occur in the late afternoon and early evening, but persist until 10 pm
Highs on Monday reach the mid-to-upper 30s.
The gradual warmup continues, with Tuesday's highs being in the upper 30s. Another weather system looks to arrive for Christmas, bringing chances for rain showers. Highs on Christmas will be around 40 with cloudy skies. Rain is expected to be light overall, but continuous through the day.
On Friday we see our gradual warming trend reach into the low 50s. That will remain throughout the rest of the weekend. The warmth will still carry cloudy skies and chances for rain with it into early next week.
