FORECAST: Another cold day across the DMV

Happy Sunday-Funday, DMV! Another cold day will be in store for the area so make sure to bundle up before heading out. Mostly sunny skies are expected today as high pressure begins to build into the area. Highs this afternoon will be before average for this time of year struggling to get out of the 20s and 20s. If you plan on heading to the Commanders this afternoon against the Eagles make sure to bundle up.
Tonight under clear skies lows will plummet to the teens across much of the area marking another cold night. If you have to head out early Monday morning make sure to bundle up it will be a cold start. A mix of sun and clouds will be the trend Monday afternoon as high pressure begins to move out of the area. Highs on Monday will reach into the upper 30s.
A weak cold front will move through the area by Tuesday, which could spark up an isolated rain/snow mix. The cold front will move in as early as Tuesday morning which could impact the morning commute. Drier conditions will be expected by Tuesday afternoon with highs reaching into the 40s.
A slight warming trend will be seen by the middle of the week with highs reaching into the 40s on Christmas Day. The forecast for Christmas calls for mostly dry conditions are expected for the holiday. By the end of the week, another storm system looks to move through the area which could spark up more isolated showers by Thursday.
