CHARLESTON, S.C. Hibben Hospitality Shelter (HHS) Location: 690 Coleman Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, SCHours: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. (no entry after 11 p.m. without prior arrangements) The Hibben Hospitality Shelter will open Sunday night to offer guests a warm place to sleep, an evening meal, and breakfast. Showers, complete with towels, soap, and shampoo, will be available, and some clothing may be provided. Guests can use a bus service to reach the shelter. The Hibben bus will pick up guests at 68 Columbus Street at 6:45 p.m., and CARTA will provide transportation downtown the following morning. Early arrivals must wait outside until the hospitality team allows entry at approximately 7:15 p.m. All belongings will be inspected, with prohibited items removed and returned at departure. Seacoast Church Summerville Warming Center Location: 301 E. 5th N. St., Summerville, SCHours: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Seacoast Church Summerville will open its warming center Sunday night, offering cots with linens and pillows, a hot dinner, and a takeaway breakfast. Showers will also be available. The center welcomes men, women, and families but cannot accommodate pets. The entrance is at the back door facing Gum Street. Both shelters encourage community members to spread the word to those needing a safe, warm place to stay during the cold night.
