Solmon stays hot in net as Bruins blank Minot

Austin Bruins goalie Jack Solomon was a wall in the net as Austin beat the Minot Minotauros (19-8-1 overall) 3-0 to clinch a weekend sweep of the Minotauros Saturday night.
Solomon stopped all 27 shots he saw to score his third shutout of the month. Solomon, a UMass-Lowell commit from St. Louis, stopped 49 of the 51 shots he saw over the weekend series.
Solomon is now 16-4 on the season while allowing just 1.933 goals per game.
Ryan Lund had a pair of assists for the Bruins (22-5-1-2 overall) in the first period as they scored three of their goals in the opening frame.
