Lake County Treasurer Michael Zuren is collaborating with the Lake County Council on Aging to provide free educational sessions for seniors in Lake County. The sessions will focus on important topics like financial literacy and budgeting tailored for older adults, according to a news release. Attendees can ask questions, gaining insights on how to improve their finances and overall quality of life. Additionally, the sessions will highlight various resources available in the county. The available dates for 2025 are: • March 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. • June 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. • Sept. 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. • Dec. 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. Joey Tomsick, CEO of the Lake County Council on Aging, will address attendees during these sessions, sharing details about services and resources for seniors, the release stated. Seniors interested in attending can register by calling the Council on Aging at 440-205-8111. All sessions will cover the same information and will be held at the Council on Aging, located at 8420 East Avenue in Mentor.
