Firefighter injured after house catches fire in Upper Marlboro, fire officials say

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A firefighter was injured while responding to a fire that broke out at a home in Upper Marlboro on Saturday night.
In a post on X just after 9 p.m., the Prince George's County Fire and EMS Department (PGFD) said crews were on the scene of a house fire in the 4200 block of Crain Highway.

There, they found "advanced fire conditions."

The PGFD initially said no one was injured; however, in an update a short time later, the department said one firefighter sustained minor injuries.
Crews said residents can expect emergency crews and smoke in the area.
