Deputies: Truck driver arrested for DWI after hitting pedestrian in Canandaigua

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Palmyra man was arrested Saturday afternoon after deputies said he hit someone while driving a truck drunk in Canandaigua.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office, Cory Daniel Ridley, 41, was driving a pick-up truck with a plow attached down County Road 16 when he drove off the road, hit two parked cars and a person. This happened near Onnalinda Drive just before 1:30 p.m.
The person hit was taken to the hospital to be treated. The victim was expected to survive their injuries, deputies stated.

Ridley was arrested for DWI and released on traffic tickets, according to deputies. He's expected in court "at a later date."
