ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Palmyra man was arrested Saturday afternoon after deputies said he hit someone while driving a truck drunk in Canandaigua. According to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office, Cory Daniel Ridley, 41, was driving a pick-up truck with a plow attached down County Road 16 when he drove off the road, hit two parked cars and a person. This happened near Onnalinda Drive just before 1:30 p.m. The person hit was taken to the hospital to be treated. The victim was expected to survive their injuries, deputies stated. 2 Batavia officers assaulted during ‘mental health incident,’ police say Ridley was arrested for DWI and released on traffic tickets, according to deputies. He's expected in court "at a later date."
