Dec 21, 2024
Bucks County-based male (mostly) a cappella group Cordus Mundi returns to the stage on January 26 at 4:00 p.m., when the group presents “Great & Glorious” at Trinity Episcopal Church in Solebury.
Cordus Mundi’s program is a mixture of new pieces and repertoire favorites, with music from Haydn, Puccini, Gibbs, McGlynn, Rosen, Moore, Jackson, Thompson, and more. New compositions from Cordus members Steve Mallon and Jason Gersh will be introduced in their world premieres, and accompanist Roburt Gajdos is featured as well.
“The group continues to solidify, and the sound and feel of this new version of Cordus is developing into something quite wonderful,” says artistic director/founder Rick Rosen. “The established Cordus repertoire sounds great, and we’ve been adding interesting new facets to the music we make. We’re looking forward to showing our audience what we’ve been up to.”
