Chicopee business owner sponsors foster teens for the holidays

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - More than 300 foster teens across the Bay State will wake up Christmas morning to a present on their wish list. "I wanted to focus more on teenagers, because they seem to get more forgotten," shared Ashley Batlle, Owner of Beauty Batlles Lounge. There's one person behind the giving making this happen for the fourth year now. Ashley Batlles is the owner of Beauty Batlles Lounge in Chicopee, an advanced beauty and wellness spa committed to helping the community look and feel their absolute best. Though this time of year the local business owner fills the role of Mrs. Claus for the teens who experience a different feeling around this time. "Waking up in a home that's not their home, waking up with a family that's not their family," shared Batlle.Since early November clients of Beauty Batlles Lounge and staff have brought in gifts matching the needs and the wants on the teen's wish list's, A team effort between that state's Department of Children and Families. Some of the staff at the wellness spa are choosing to give above and beyond as it once made a difference in their life, "Me giving back it kind of like brought back those memories of being helped as a kid," shared Ellie Sanchez, Massage Therapist at Beauty Batlles Lounge.
