MANDEVILLE, La. (WGNO) — The body of a man who was found dead in the Beau Chene Marina on Friday has been identified. According to St. Tammany Parish Coroner Dr. Christopher Tape, the deceased person was identified as 78-year-old David Podesta, of Marina Boulevard, near where he was found. Man hospitalized in Folsom-area shooting Podesta had been recovered from the water after a passerby, while walking his dog, saw Podesta's body in the water on the morning of Dec. 20. Autopsy results are still pending in the investigation, and the cause and manner of death have not yet been determined.
