AUSTIN (KXAN) — Winning in playoff scenarios requires a solid rushing attack and the Texas Longhorns found their rhythm once again versus Clemson in the first round of the College Football Playoff on Saturday at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium. Texas rushed for 292 yards and four touchdowns to beat the Tigers 38-24 and advance to the CFP quarterfinals at the Peach Bowl against Arizona State on New Year's Day in Atlanta. Quintrevion Wisner chipped in 110 yards on 15 carries but banged up his knee late in the first half. Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian said Wisner could have gone back in but the coaches chose to keep him out and use Jerrick Gibson with Blue for the rest of the game. Roger Wallace and Noah Gross discuss how the Longhorns rediscovered their rushing attack and the upcoming matchup against the Sun Devils in the video above.
