DeWitt Post Office manager accused of stealing over $80K in stamps by falsifying transactions

DeWitt, N.Y. — The DeWitt Post Office station manager has been charged this week with stealing over $80,000 in stamps, prosecutors said.Emilio Chirico was indicted on charges of wire fraud, misappropriation of postal funds and false entries and reports, according to court papers filed in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York.
