Santa makes special stop in Redlands aboard Metrolink’s Holiday Express Train

Santa made his final detour of the year on Saturday, Dec. 21, with a trip on the Metrolink Holiday Express Train in Redlands.
Throughout December, Metrolink’s Holiday Express Train has made stops across Southern California, including in Riverside, Santa Clarita and Simi Valley.

At the Redlands-Downtown Station on Saturday, before his big day, Santa Claus was joined by Christmas carolers and singing elves, and other seasonal activities were part of the holiday party on rails.
Riders returned to the Redlands-Downtown Station after a 70-minute round-trip to the Rancho Cucamonga station and back.

Before departing, travelers also enjoyed live music, balloon artists and kid-friendly craft stations.
