SIOUX FALLS, SD -- Despite a bit of a breeze at times, it has been a rather nice start to winter across KELOLAND. The big difference today has been on the thermometer...as warmer than average temperatures were observed in earnest out west. As of 4 pm CST Saturday It'll be a mainly quiet night on our hands with a generally light breeze in place. Though clouds will roll through at times, we're expecting a dry night as well with chillier temperatures to the east. In a similar manner to Saturday, milder temperatures will remain in place to the west and gradually spill eastward as we head into the day on Sunday. While much of the day is quiet, we do need to watch northeastern KELOLAND as we head into the evening and overnight. There's still a chance to see a light wintry mix in northeastern KELOLAND overnight on Sunday into early Monday as that clipper tries to brush to our north. While moisture amounts are not all that impressive, you'll want to keep this in mind if you have any travel plans overnight and into the morning on Monday...as roads may be slick at times. After this, we quiet down as we head through the upcoming holiday week. Little if any moisture comes along through Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so those of you that may be dreaming of a white Christmas will likely have to keep dreaming and hope that the snow we did receive can last until then. Some rain showers may try and back into portions of eastern and southeastern KELOLAND by Friday into Saturday...though this is dependent on the track of low pressure and whether it can be shunted westward a bit or not.
