Man hospitalized in Folsomarea shooting

ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A man has been hospitalized following a shooting that happened in the Folsom area on Friday afternoon, Dec. 20.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the shooting, which happened in the 1100 block of McCoy Road, around 3:15 p.m.
On scene, a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was then airlifted to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Detectives then searched a nearby home that was associated with the man who was shot. Inside the home, a "substantial" amount of marijuana, as well as a firearm which is believed to have been involved in the shooting, were found.
A man, identified as 19-year-old Kaden Robertson, was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly removing the firearm from the scene and trying to hide it at the home. He was also given a summons for alleged possession of marijuana.
The shooting remains under investigation and more arrests are expected. Anyone with information that can help in the case is asked to call the STPSO at 985-898-2338.
