MSHP said this forced the 58-year-old driver of a 2025 International Semi to try and swerve away from the wreck. However, it ended up crashing into the Jeep before striking the highway median.

The 19-year-old driver of the Jeep, and the 58-year-old driver of the semi, both received minor injuries in the crash and were also taken to North Kansas City Hospital.
