According to an MCSO Facebook post, deputies responded to the 9000 block of State Road 39, just south of Bunker Hill Road, around 2:40 a.m. on the report of a 64-year-old man who was attacked in his home.
Per a press release from the MCSO, the man's wife woke to the sounds of her husband screaming. She found him conscious but suffering from head injuries. He was later transported to an area hospital and is expected to recover from his injuries.
