BISMARCK, N.D. (KXNET) — The Nutcracker is a time-honored holiday tradition, and shows of it are usually marked with stunning ballet and interpretive dance performances. But why not put a spin on the holiday classic this year? According to the Bismarck Veteran's Memorial Public Library, a Nutcracker-themed class will be taking place on December 30th. During the event, teenage participants will have the opportunity to learn a basic hip-hop routine based on the classic ballet. No prior dance experience is needed.
