Man shot in leg, abdomen on Syracuse’s South Side

Syracuse, N.Y. – A 35-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and the leg on Syracuse’s South Side early Saturday morning, police said.Around 1:44 a.m., a man called 911 to report he had been shot after someone came to his house on the 200 block of West Newell Street and he opened the door, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatches.
