New bill would block Florida cities from regulating Donald Trump's presidential library
Dec 21, 2024
Local governments would be blocked from regulating construction and operation of presidential libraries for President-elect Donald Trump and other presidents who might plan such facilities in Florida, under a bill filed Thursday for the 2025 legislative session. Sen. Jason Brodeur, R-Sanford, filed the measure (SB 118), which would prevent local governments from enacting ordinances and other regulations about presidential libraries.
