VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A commercial fire prompted closures in Visalia, according to the Visalia Fire Department. Firefighters responded to the area of Walnut Avenue and Demaree Street at 7:20 p.m. Friday for a commercial fire. Fire crews say a total of 21 firefighters and three chief officers were on site, working to contain the fire. Additionally, both Walnut Avenue and Demaret Street were closed and motorists were advised to avoid the area. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
