Police said officers did a perimeter check of the scene but did not locate any victims or evidence tied to a shooting.
Investigators said just over a half hour later, a victim contacted Berkeley PD to report that their car had been shot at while they were driving that morning on Tunnel Road. The victim told police they were unharmed, but that their vehicle had sustained damage from a gunshot.
Police said they have not located any suspects in this third incident, and the case remains under investigation.
