PEABODY, Kan. (KSNW) -- Health officials have lifted a boil water advisory for the City of Peabody public water supply. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment says a waterline break caused a pressure loss in the distribution system. When that happens, chlorine residuals can drop and the chance of bacteria getting in increases.
