VIDEO: Law enforcement find gunshot victims, arrest murder suspect in Los Lunas

LOS LUNAS, N.M. (KRQE) – Newly released body camera footage shows the moment deputies found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. His last words helped lead deputies to another victim and to his alleged killer.

On video, a Valencia County Sheriff's Office deputy responded to a call of a gunshot victim on Wednesday near El Cerro Loop. They found 61-year-old John Miramontes pleading for help. He's bleeding out and as they started to render aid, they asked him who was responsible.
Miramontes told them a woman named Amy shot him and his friend at a house down the road. Miarmontes: "My friend George was at the house. (Deputies talking) Miarmontes: "I think he is there shot dead."
First responders took him to the University of New Mexico Hospital where he later died. Law enforcement then rushed to the home and unleashed the K9. Officer: "If you're in the building, this is your final warning. K-9 is going to be sent in. Make yourself known. If you fail to do so, you will be bit. (Let's go of dog) Dog has gone in.
They found 64-year-old George Yzquierdo dead with a gunshot wound to the head. Officer: "There's blood on the floor. This might be the deceased guy."
Police scoured the home looking for the person responsible. They found the suspect hiding in the bathroom. Officer: "Police department. Make yourself known. (Kicks in door) Let me see your f***ing hands. Get on the ground. Get on the ground your going to get f***ing bit. It's okay, easy buddy, easy buddy. You guys got her."
Police arrested 41-year-old Amy Pendleton. She was charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Pendelton was on probation at the time of the crime. She is currently being held at the Valencia County Detention Center.
