(KRON) -- An arsenal of privately manufactured firearms was seized from a San Jose residence on Thursday after police responded to a report of gunfire on the 10000 block of Clayton Road, according to authorities.
The San Jose Police Department said officers arrived at around 6 p.m. and learned that domestic violence had occurred involving assault with a deadly weapon. A SJPD helicopter was dispatched, and a male suspect was observed leaving the scene in a vehicle.

The police helicopter crews alerted officers on the ground, the department said, and a traffic stop was initiated. The suspect, who was not identified, was arrested without further incident.
A search warrant for the residence was obtained, and detectives seized “numerous” privately manufactured firearms, SJPD said. A photo shared by police shows over a dozen guns, along with magazines and ammunition, laid out on a table.
