NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The unemployment rate in New Mexico is continuing to rise. According to the latest numbers from the Department of Workforce Solutions, New Mexico's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.4% in November. Bataan Memorial Building added to the State Register of Cultural Properties The rate is a tenth of a percent up from October, when the rate was 4.3%, and nearly half a percent higher than last year, when the rate was 4%. New Mexico's unemployment rate is a fifth of a percent higher than the national average, which was at 4.2% for November.
