ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Tennis and pickleball players now have newly resurfaced courts. The City of Albuquerque's Parks and Recreation Department invited the community to celebrate the new courts at Lauren C. Bolles Park and Jerry Cline Tennis Center. Instructors were there to help teach people how to play. "We're really helping Albuquerque stay active and supporting healthy lifestyles and it is just incredibly gratifying to see people taking advantage of our great parks and recreation assets, said Director David Simon, City of Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Department. At Lauren C. Bolles Park, four courts were resurfaced, and eight were resurfaced at Jerry Cline Tennis Center. The department said they will resurface more courts and add LED lights which are scheduled for next year. Representative Debra Sariana fully funded the $180,000 project.
