WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police are investigating after a man was shot in the Shaw area on Friday morning. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) told DC News Now that around 8:45 a.m., officers were called to the 1700 block of 7th Street NW for a shooting. There, police learned that a man, who had been shot, took himself to the hospital. MPD said the suspected vehicle that was involved in the shooting was last seen traveling in the 600 block of S Street NW.
