SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Hungry Hill Golden Age Club celebrated the spirit of the season Thursday with their annual holiday luncheon. Members of the group gathered at the Senior Center on Liberty Square for some lunch and laughter. There were plenty of bingo games and raffle prizes to win. Golden Age Club Vice President Martha Kelliher told 22News that members look forward to these events during the busy holiday season, "Everything is a fan favorite here. The staff here is wonderful and it's a great opportunity, we took everybody free of charge to Bright Nights last week to celebrate Christmas so that was a city-wide golden age event." Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno also stopped by to celebrate. The Hungry Hill Golden Age Club is one of three in Springfield. The other two operate in Mason Square and Sixteen Acres.
