Through this week, we've been seeing high temperatures decrease day-by-day. Where we were in the 50s to start the work week, we're now ending in the mid-30s. More snow showers are traversing through the area as we enter the afternoon, although they are on a weakening trend. The snow tapers off by 2 PM as a clipper system moves out of our area. Drive with a little extra space between the surrounding drivers, as only a little bit of snow has caused slippery roadways entering the afternoon. The best chance for snow today was in the morning, however, a slight chance for snow showers will remain this afternoon. Most will not see these snow showers, and certainly not as widespread as the AM. High temperatures, thanks to the snowfall and the cloudy skies, only get into the mid-30s. Slight snow shower chance remains, and still cloudy. Highs in the mid-30s.Lower 30s and cloudy entering sunset. Temperatures continue the downward trend of highs, only in the 20s, and lows in the teens and lower 20s for the weekend. You'll definitely want to bundle up. This cold air does not stick around. Dry and cold for the weekend, but at least some Sunday sunshine! While we have seen temperatures drop through the week, we'll see a role-reversal to start the next one. Highs begin in the 30s on Monday, and we only get warmer from there. That includes Christmas. So, unfortunately, we are not looking at a White Christmas this year... more like a Wet Christmas, as we'll have chances for rain showers then. This Afternoon: Cloudy with snow showers continuing.
