Man charged with involuntary manslaughter for fatal crash in Reston, police say

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- The driver involved in a fatal crash last month was charged with involuntary manslaughter on Wednesday, police said.
The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said officers responded to the single-vehicle crash at around 2:40 a.m. on Nov. 23. A BMW was speeding in the area of Fairfax County Parkway and Elden Street when the driver lost control, flipping the car before it came to a stop.
The passenger, 23-year-old Tina Habibi, was taken to the hospital where she died.

FCPD said 23-year-old Ayaan Usmani was arrested on Dec. 18 and charged with involuntary manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.
He was held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and released on bond.
