FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A local business in Fresno donated a percentage of its first month's revenue to help children who can't be home for the holidays at the Valley Children's Hospital on Thursday. Back in November the restaurant, The Station, announced its Grand Opening ceremony on social media, adding it would donate 10% of its proceeds between Nov. 2 through Dec. 15 to the hospital's foundation. The total amount donated Thursday was $1,000. Members of the foundation were on site to accept the donation. Additionally, the restaurant owners, Bobby and Marco, say they will cater to hospital staff on Christmas day. The Station is located at 4588 E. Shields Ave., in Fresno. They are open every day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
