(BCN) -- Two dogs died and six people were displaced Thursday when a house caught fire in San Lorenzo, according to a spokesperson from the Alameda County Fire Department. At 12:22 p.m., firefighters responded to a home in the 1600 block of Bandoni Avenue that was engulfed in flames and heavy smoke, according to county fire spokesperson Cheryl Hurd. Rain headed for SF Bay Area may impact holiday travel The fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes, Hurd said. Two dogs died in the fire and six people were displaced, but no people were injured.
