SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) — Principal Keith Kline at Saint Philip School in Greenville dressed as an elf for the second year in a row for the entire week leading up to the school vacation.
Each day of the week had a different theme as Kline celebrated the season with the school community.
On Monday he was joined by members of the Smithfield Fire Department on one of their engines.
On Tuesday he and Vice Principal Mary-Regina Bennett practiced their ice skating skills, while on Wednesday Kline, Bennet, Fr. Michael Najim, and Fr. Patrick Ryan rode the SPS Express train.
Finally, on Thursday the principal greeted students from the roof of the school.
Members of the school community said they can’t wait to see what Kline will do for Friday.
